Koi Description:
The breeder of this koi told me it was a Kin Kikokuryu and you may remember seeing it on the cover of Koi USA . I've really enjoyed watching this now 3 year old develop while maintaining the features of a typical Kikokuryu. For my 2 cents, the Koi Club of San Diego now bench this variety as Hikari Moyo and I agree - but it remains a point for discussion as we develop the hobby in the USA.
