Koi Description:
I acquired this koi by entering the Taniguchi Koi Farm grow-out contest last year; however, it did not win any prizes. I firmly believe that this koi will be a winner. Unfortunately, I don't have its current picture, but its pattern has not changed much. The large Hi mark on the forehead is much sharper, and, of course, the coloration is a much deeper red. Recent added, it is always the first one to swim forward to me, even when I pet its forehead. It loves to eat. Definitely my best Kohaku!!
